Help your children have good ways of study

You need to help your children have a good habit of study.

Creating a habit can waste 2 weeks but its "effectiveness of use" will be long-lasting all their lives.

1. Fixed place and time for study are the best. If your children have their own places for study, they should study in fixed times everyday. If your children do not have their own places for study, you should create any place for them to study everyday.

2. Need to study immediately as soon as your children enter their tables. Do not let them do other attractive things such as replying the emails for their friends or scrawling. Your children can do these things after that and these things are considered to be a present for them after they study all their lessons.

3. Help your children establish a plan about what missions need to be completed. Whenever your children start to study, you should help them to write down exactly what they have to do such as finishing 2 pages of their essays, a newspaper article, writing a short story, answering 10 questions in Maths, learning a function in a new computer.

4. Divide all big missions into small ones. For example, if your children write an essay, your necessary duties are to carry out forming draft of the fundamentals.

5. Studying stuff should be placed in convenient places. Your children can arrange their studying stuff in order to take it immediately without foraging for the stuff everywhere.

6. Pay attention to remind your children when they begin to dream. Help them concentrate on their work. But after that you have to let your children take a rest. After your children's studying 45 minutes, let them take a rest about 15 minutes.

7. Sleeping well is an important factor to studying and effective memories. You have to assure that your children will have fixed time for bed every night. Avoid your children from all food and drink which contains caffeine within 2 hours before going to bed with a view to spending a sleep without broken times.

8. Eating well will provide necessary fuel for your children's bodies and brains. Children need three meals in a day and cannot leave out their breakfasts. Try to give your children the balance of food groups which are healthful for their health and try not to feed them meat mixed with salt.

9. Doing exercise will enhance the capacity of their memory and studying competence. Older children need to focus on 3-4 exercises a week. Each exercise requires 20 minutes or more. You should discuss with your children's doctors before starting any practicing programs.

When your children become adults, life skills and habits are all important things. Therefore, from now on, establishment of all good study habits will help your children more successful in their future.
