Mythological world of children
The children having many friends in imagination will possess more vivid day dreams than others.
The Australian researcher Paula Bouldin in Deakin University showed that children with friends in imagination often had mysterious dreams. They spent more time daydreaming, and had ability of nearly hearing and seeing the contents of dreams in front of them.
Apparently, children with friend in imagination had richer internal life than others.
Bouldin interviewed 74 children from 3 to 8. Half of them used to have friends in imagination so that they had more mysterious dreams, and often daydreamed, or played with their mysterious dreams.
Dr Louise Newman, psychologist in children, head of New South Wales Psychology Institution, said that friends in imagination played a role as "a surrealist fellow" or "perfect player". But there was also a sign of sentimental disorder.
"There are some cases in which children create their fellows because they feel lonely, depressed, or cannot say about what they are interested in."
"Some of imagined friends will become awesome. They will persecute, mistreat children by telling children that children are stupid and bad."
Friends in imagination are popular to children from 7 to up. It often concerns sentimental matters and families. Sometimes, friends in imagination also follow children in mature age, which is the result of spiritual trauma, powerlessness for stress, and sometimes psychic diseases.
In rare cases, some having Doppelganger syndrome believe that an invisible or twin friend will go with them.
According to Bouldin, the research revealed that children with friends in imagination would had rich imagination world which was also the sign of psychic disorders.
