Things that can surprise you when you are pregnant
Having babies influences women in different ways. It does not merely change their bodies but also affect every aspect of life.
The instinct to build nest
It appears in many pregnant women the urge to renew their homes to prepare for the babies' coming. Or they want to complete works that they haven't had time to do, like repair the kitchen or rebuild the wardrobe.
When the confinement is coming, you will find yourself clearing the kitchen cupboard, cleaning the house - things that you cannot imagine when you are expecting. The desire to tidy up your home will be useful because after your childbirth, you will have more time to rest and rearing the baby, but be careful, do not over-work.
Lose your concentration
In the first quarter of pregnancy, tiredness and morning sickness can make women exhausted and stressful. But even strong women can lose their concentration and forgetful. Too absorbed in the child and hormone changes are parts of the reasons. For them, everything includes work, bills, doctor's arrangement seems to be less important than the child and the coming birthday. You can overcome this absent-mindedness by listing things to remember.
Mood changes
Symptoms of pre-menstruation and pregnancy are similar. Your breast is swollen and painful, disordered hormone and you feel so melancholy. If you experience these symptoms during your periods, you will meet even more terrible mood changes when you have babies. Maybe today you are easy to get angry with your partner, but tomorrow you're ready to pick a quarrel to your colleagues.
Emotion changes are very popular in women's pregnancy, although they happen more frequently in the first quarter and the last month of the third quarter of gestation.
About 10% of pregnant women are depressed. If you have symptoms such as sleeping disorder, changes in eating habit, mood changes which are too serious and longer than 2 weeks, consult with a doctor.
Changes in bra's size
The increase in size of the breast is one of the first signals of pregnancy. The breast often fully spreads and becomes bigger in the first quarter due to the increase in the amount of estrogen and progesterone hormone. This growth in the first 3 months does not stop completely, your breast will continue to develop during your pregnancy.
Beside breast size, your bra size is also affected because of the increase in the thorax. Your lungs will be bigger for you to breathe (take in) more oxygen for both you and the baby, consequently, your chest size is also bigger. You may have to change the bra size several times during your pregnancy.
